Celebrate Potato Month in PA

potatoes

September is Potato Month, and Pennsylvania is a great place to celebrate! Often referred to as the Snack Capital of the World, when you talk about potatoes in Pennsylvania you’re probably talking about potato chips.

Pennsylvania is home to many potato farms, where the acidic soil and warm, humid summers are perfect conditions for growing the crop. And the state is also home to many potato chip makers!

But there are lots of ways to serve up a spud beyond chips and fries, like a traditional German potato salad, or a starchy dish with crispy sweet and spicy twist! Check out a few fun potato recipes below.
